Speed Week is now part of USA CRITS for 2026!
The 2026 season has brought a few big shifts: Suwanee and Greenville both leveled up their participation (with one jumping from mid-week to a prime Saturday slot, and the other moving a week later than last year), while three familiar Speed Week stops—Spin the District—are taking a strategic pause as their primary funding pivots toward FIFA’s World Cup in Atlanta.
Once the dust settled, there wasn’t a true “week” left to package together—and rather than force it, we’re going all-in and rolling the races of Speed Week into a stacked USA CRITS calendar for 2026. This sets the stage for Speed Week to return in 2027, bigger and louder than ever, celebrating its 20th anniversary.
And make no mistake—the racing stays HOT. There will be four additional events inside the two-month USA CRITS window (two in Athens, one in Rock Hill and one in Winston-Salem), all with prize money on the line. They won’t count toward points this year, but the battles—and the payouts—are very real.

- April 18 — Athens Orthopedic Clinic Twilight p/b St. Mary’s Health Care System – Athens, GA
- April 26 — LaGrange Cycling Classic – LaGrange, GA
- April 30 — Greenville Cycling Classic p/b Prisma Health – Greenville, SC
- May 1 — Spartanburg Criterium p/b Spartanburg Medical Center & Gibbs Cancer Center – Spartanburg, SC
- May 2 — High Line Criterium p/b Gwinnett Sports Commission – Suwanee, GA
- May 16 — Rock Hill Spring Classic – Rock Hill, SC
- May 23 — USA CRITS Finals: Winston Salem Cycling Classic – Winston-Salem, NC
In addition to the above events (which are the only points-based races within the series), there are others surrounding the USA CRITS schedule to expand the opportunities for more racing, including the following:
